Ninth Annual First Ward Holiday Party

It is hard to believe that this is the ninth year for this event. From humble beginnings (a few cases of soda and a few bags of potato chips) this party has become a huge success. The buffet is marvelous and the crowds get bigger each year. Organizers expect several hundred party goers - the majority of them children. The children will have the opportunity to visit with Santa and play games for prizes. The question is which "big shot" will be spotted at the party? Past visitors have included Congressman Mel Watt, Mayor Pat McCrory, Councilman James Mitchell and Michael Smith the President of Charlotte Center City Partners. Come out and meet your First Ward neighbors and have some fun!
